Our story

About Everest Manufacturing

Everest Manufacturing was officially established in March 2009, but our roots in packaging and cold chain solutions go back much further.

Our journey began as owners of Tryco Inc., a packaging distribution company based in Southeast Michigan. In the early 2000s, we supplied customers with traditional packaging materials such as corrugated boxes, tape, and protective packaging while expanding into temperature-controlled shipping solutions with insulated metallized bubble products and thermal pouches.

In 2004, we identified a growing demand for freezer gel packs among our customers.

When existing manufacturers were unable to consistently meet distributor needs for quality, lead times, and service, we made the decision to manufacture our own. We started with a manual production system and, within a year, invested in our first fully automated manufacturing line. This investment allowed us to control product quality, improve responsiveness, and support the increasing demand from customers and distributors throughout the region.

As our business continued to grow, we expanded our manufacturing capabilities to include metallized bubble pallet covers, EPS foam fabrication, polyurethane insulated shippers, PET insulation materials, and 100% recyclable insulated shipping coolers. These additions positioned us as a comprehensive provider of thermal packaging solutions for a wide range of temperature-sensitive products.

In March 2009, Everest Manufacturing was officially established to focus exclusively on the design and manufacture of cold chain packaging products.

Over the following years, we continued to invest in advanced manufacturing technologies, product development, and testing capabilities to support the evolving needs of pharmaceutical, healthcare, food, industrial, and specialty product markets.

A major milestone occurred in 2020 when Everest Manufacturing merged with State Line Packaging, adding a fifth partner and expanding our product portfolio to include innovative pop-up pouches, metallized mailers, and box liner systems.

The combined product offerings strengthened our position as a full-service cold chain packaging manufacturer. To support continued growth, operations were relocated to Toledo, Ohio.

In 2022, the original partners sold the packaging distribution business to focus entirely on the expansion of Everest Manufacturing and its growing network of distribution partners.

This strategic move allowed us to dedicate our resources to innovation, manufacturing excellence, and customer support.

Most recently, in 2025, Everest Manufacturing moved into a new state-of-the-art 70,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, providing additional production capacity and room for future growth.

Today, Everest Manufacturing delivers high-performance, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible thermal packaging solutions across North America. Our product portfolio includes gel packs, insulated mailers, pop-up pouches, box liners, metallized bubble products, EPS foam, polyurethane systems, PET insulation products, pallet covers, and recyclable insulated shipping solutions.
